Title: Analysis and Design of Secure Enterprise Architecture-based Computer Netwroks (SEACON) The research requires a network design and simulation tool that supports site-to-site (network-to-network) VPN modeling and simulation. We have been using OPNET and MPLS extensively to help design secure network topologies and various scenarios and simulate the scenarios in order to determine an optimal secure network. We also envision extending this work to use OPNET to design and simulate wireless network using WI-MAX and WI-FI technologies.
Title: Simulation and Performance Evaluation of Secure Network Design under the SEACON Method We propose to show how to translate a Secure Network Design under the SEACON method into an equivalent OPNET network model and simulate it for performance evaluation.
