Consultant for IBM Technical Education (March, 1990 - March, 1991).
Taught IDEF0 Function modeling course to IBMers at various IBM sites. I have taught IDEF0 Function modeling course at six IBM sites and at Hamilton Standard, Hartford, CT. I have also taught IDEF1x modeling course. These courses discuss how to model and document an existing business process for the purpose of understanding and simplification of the business process. These courses used real IBM manufacturing processes for the modeling exercises.
Systems Development Consultant (1983 - present).
Extensive experience in designing and developing medical practice management software and accounting packages such as General Ledger and Payroll. I have designed and developed a Medical software package and several accounting packages. The medical package runs under Windows, and UNIX. The medical package is being used by several physicians in Texas and New Mexico.
Associate Professor, Texas Tech University, (September 1986 - August 1992).
Was involved in upgrading our graduate and undergraduate MIS curriculum.
Taught IDEF0 and other modeling method for the last twelve years as part of an advanced systems analysis course where I serve as a “chief consultant” to students who work on real life projects and develop IDEF0 models (up to Axxx level and more) of business processes. I have directed and evaluated over 120 real life IDEF0 projects.
Wrote a three-page write-up on the body of knowledge required for PhD in MIS. This has been used as a guide by our PhD students as well as the faculty members for topics to be covered in our research seminar courses.
Developed the following new courses from scratch:

The work involved evaluating requirement specification documents containing several pages of data flow diagrams and other written materials.

Development of a software package which connects users from Univac 90/80 to Interdata Processor and allows easy compilation and execution of Interdata Fortran programs.

Design and implementation of a text editor on Interdata 8/32 which acts as a front end processor for two Univac 90/80 systems. The total code is 62k bytes.

Wrote an input/output driver to support GT44 Display Processor under RSX11-M system on PDP11/40.
Graduate Research Assistant, (February 1977-April 1978).
Was involved in implementing PASCAL-11 under RSX11-M system on PDP11/40. The original compiler was developed by the University of Illinois.
Co-designed and implemented a very flexible word processing system on L9000 minicomputer with interactive capabilities. This word processor also has the capability to extract information from a separate group of files and include it as part of the total information about, say, a customer.

Design and implementation of a multi-terminal time shared BASIC interpreter for TDC-312 computer to support 16 on-Line terminals. Total code is 35k words (12 bits) including overlays, etc.
